XIII INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL CONFECTIONERIES TASTING COMPETITION "SWEET TRIUMPH' 2012"

The International Professional confectioneries tasting competition Sweet triumph is held within the frameworkof the specialized international trade fair SWEETS & BAKERY Ukraine. The Contest is organized by ACCO International Exhibition Company and supported by "Ukrkondprom" Association.

Producers of any type of confectioneries, sweet diary, ice-cream, food concentrates and sweet drinks are invited to participation.

The Contest’s aim is determination of the best product, whose quality and style meet the requirements of modern Ukrainian trade network at the most.

• QUALITY TRIUMPH
• TRIUMPH OF INNOVATION

• Quality coefficient by organoleptic characteristics (taste, colour, smell, appearance etc.)
• Capability of the packing, in which goods are sold directly to customers, to draw the attention of buyers (accordance of packing form and style to the category of given product, originality of style, color and individuality of the  trade mark)
• Produce wholesale price (for retail trade networks)

This closed competition is hold in presence of the Supervisory Board only.

Tasting committee is independent and consists of professional tasters of "Ukrkondprom" Association, representatives of the appropriate industry branches, representatives of the State Ukrainian committee for standardization, representatives of the Ministry of Economics, representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, National University of Food technologies, and also the representatives of procurement departments of wholesale and retail Kiev’s trading networks.

Samples are estimated by organoleptic quality coefficients according to the 5 numerical score system.

Only packed and weighed products are admitted to the competition. Packed products are estimated according to two criteria: quality and packing. And weighed out products are estimated according to qualitative indexes only.

The winners are awarded with DIPLOMAS and REWARDS in corresponding nominations. In accord with the jury’s decisions, producers can be awarded with First, Second and Third place diplomas in each nomination.
